Our Team
Dr. Adam Hill
Dr. Adam Hill was born and raised in Whitby, Ontario. He graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree. As part of his clinical education, he completed several externships, including working at a multi-specialty ophthalmology group in Baltimore and a rotation at Malawi's largest hospital. Since graduating, Dr. Hill has worked in a variety of practice settings, from single-doctor private practices to large multidisciplinary clinics, but he most enjoys working in smaller offices where he has the time to connect with patients and provide the best, most personal care possible.
Dr. Hill enjoys staying involved with his community and giving back. He has volunteered his optometric services at home and abroad, donating free eye exams to those in need in Toronto and Oshawa, doing vision screenings with the Whitby Lions Club, and participating in global eyecare clinics in South Africa, Mexico, China, Zambia, and Rwanda. He does this charity work with OneSight, an independent nonprofit trying to eradicate the vision care crisis worldwide.
Dr. Hill is pleased to be a part of the team at Jonathan Lenard Opticians and continue providing quality, comprehensive eyecare to the community.
