Our Team
Dr. Heather Chin
Dr. Heather Chin graduated from the University of Waterloo’s Doctor of Optometry program in 2016 and practiced alongside distinguished optometrists and ophthalmologists for 4 years in Southern Ontario before moving to Vancouver. While working with ophthalmology, Dr. Chin refined her ocular health skills as she co-managed ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, wet age-related macular degeneration, cataracts and pre-/post-refractive surgery. In private practice, she enjoyed getting to know her patients and working with her community. She has a special interest in dry eye and finding tailored treatment plans for each patient.
Dr. Chin decided to move to Vancouver in 2020 to pursue an active lifestyle, as she enjoys skiing and biking in the mountains. She took over Yaletown Eyecare in October 2021. Dr. Chin has completed San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training.

Dr Jennifer Leung
Originally from Markham, Ontario, Dr. Jennifer Leung began her academic journey studying Chemical Engineering at the University of British Columbia before earning her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2025.
During her training, she worked alongside ophthalmologists at the Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami, gaining experience in cataract surgery and glaucoma care; as well as in clinics specializing in dry eye management and myopia control. Her own experience with amblyopia as a child showed her the life-changing impact of early eye care, inspiring her to help patients protect and improve their vision.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys keeping active with volleyball, going on backpacking and portaging trips with friends, and discovering great food.

Dr Helon Law
Dr. Helon Law grew up in Vancouver and received his bachelor's degree from UBC. He went on to study at Pacific University College of Optometry, where he graduated with distinction and was the recipient of the Dean's Award. His optometric education also included an intensive ocular disease rotation at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the #1 ranked eye hospital in the USA.
As a practicing optometrist, he enjoys taking care of all manner of patients, including everyday primary care, ocular disease management, dry eye management, specialty contact lenses, and brain injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Law is passionate about taking a tailored, whole-person approach to better serve his patients. He loves finding new ways to improve his patient's quality of life by maximizing their ocular health and visual function. Dr. Law is able to serve his patients in English and Cantonese. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, rock climbing, and planning his next travel adventure.
