Dr. Marina Ceaus was born in Romania but grew up in North York, Ontario. She attended York University for her undergraduate degree and received her Doctor of Optometry with honours from the University of Waterloo. In her final year, she did her ocular disease placement at Vision America of Mobile in Alabama, where she received extensive training in diabetic retinopathy, optic nerve disease, strabismus, paediatrics and corneal disease. Dr. Ceaus emphasizes the importance of ocular health to ensure early diagnosis so that we can prevent vision loss. After graduation Dr. Ceaus furthered her training in vision therapy allowing her to provide specialized care to children with vision disorders that may impact their learning, children and adults with strabismus and individuals concussions.

Dr. Ceaus is passionate about eyecare, and moreover, passionate about your family's vision and health. She loves children and is a big advocator of annual children's eye exams. She is dedicated to work with you and your health care team to ensure that you and your family's vision is well taken care of. She has experience in the management of diseases such as macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma and diabetes. Dr. Ceaus has been caring for patients in the Streetsville community since 2015, and has enjoyed growing along with her patients. Her emphasis is always treating each individual patient as she would her own family members.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter and son. If she isn't in the office she is likely at the playground enjoying quality time with her kids.
